I don't think anyone is reading this...so I just have to complain...I have the loosest bowels on the face of earth! Yesterday I went for a walk in an upscale residential area near my house(I have become even more of a chubnik since my foot problem started) and halfway through I like...Nu-uhh...I had to cut short my walk and kept stopping to compose myself. Its a 2.86 mile course and its annoying when I have to cut it short. Porta-potties should line the streets or something.

my trip to Austin & New Braunfels

...we ended up not tubing b/c of flooding, we went to Gonzales (Come and Take it!...like...come and take it. No, more like a battle cry.) and ate barbeque at the Gonzales Meat Market...the best!
We also went to Trattoria Lisina at the Mandola Winery, the food, the duck ravioli, it was so delicious!

My leg is still killing me, think I might have to go the doctors soon. Didnt even want to walk to Starbucks today to get the paper.

Also, J Luba-vitch, I don't know what you look like, but you are a hottie! I love your sense of humor and you are one of those rare individuals w/o a stick up your ass. I know you inquired about me and was told I wasn't playing w/ a full deck (which is true) but after I talked to you I was like...that was funny...and then I remembered i talked to you last year. Anyways...it was fun...as long as your not a midget i don't care what you look like...I had a bad run in w/ a midget at work...stories for another time.

Pho 95

Just went to the new Pho 95 near my place, had my favorite dish Bun w/ grilled pork and egg roll. It was ok, its the only Vietnamese noodle place near my house...so I'm sure I will be back. Its more upscale than most noodle places, w/ a bar and more ambiance than most...mostly a white clientele...w/ one Vietnamese family in there slurping on pho. I have hit the jackpot, a Schlotzsky's and a Double Daves are opening right down the street from my house. We are getting Austin's restaurants here too...a Mandola's Italian grill already opened and Rudys (hurray, hurray) will be opening shortly.

Really great article about Justice Souter. I so wish this guy was still on the Supreme Court. He is really there to serve his country, you never think 'What is this guy running for next?' The follow up opinions by the general populace was interesting too...is Justice Souter overblowing judicial originalism to suit his own interests (or whatever the hell its called)? Most people really liked him and his way of looking at the Constitution as an overlapping value system.
