Why, at the computers at the library, do I always end up sitting next to the guy that smells like smok or pot? I need a new computer...next week can't come soon enough, please please let there be a new computer in my future. Now let's go eat some tacos.

Sad

So yesterday i was at the public library downtown waiting for my ride and there was a younger black woman waiting on the benches. She had 5 kids between the ages of 9 and 2. The oldest boy was lying out on the bench looking through a book but the other 4 were running around, sometimes throwing rocks, opening the book return slot etc, just being kids. The woman was not interacting w/ them at all, she had her head down by her thighs and would lift it up to say stuff like "Stop it! Get over here!" And then her head would go down again and she would clench her fists, she just seemed depressed that she had so many kids. I want a child (so badly) but never want to feel those feelings that she exhibited.

For once in the last month I am feeling pretty optimistic. I might actually still have a job next month...maybe this month isn't over yet...damn there's that pessimism sweeping in again. The life working at a Big Bank (BB).

Hell, let's do some more mourning for my old computer

I could get my old computer to work if I pinched the upper part of the cord really hard, it would then take electricity thru the cord and not wear out the battery, but then my hand was starting to feel a little bit funny, like all electric and stuff...I was like maybe I should stop this and not take a shower tonight (yeah...I really am THAT stupid). So I have decided to stop trying to make the computer work and have decided to go cold turkey...I am having withdrawal symptoms already, thats why I am here at TCCD. I don't know if I can make it to next week but my Dad wants me to wait until November to get a new computer b/c "thats when the prices really go down." Thats four months from now! I might not even be gainfully employed four months from now! Oh well...

Just made it...

I did exercise last night, wasn't good this morning...got in the pool for half a hour this morning. Went to see a movie I Am Love w/ Tilda Swinton. Left after a hour and a half b/c I was scared I wouldn't be able to catch the 1:19 pm TRE train back. Came down the Mockingbird station JUST as the blue train was pulling up, that was at 1:02, started praying...hard. Pulled up to Union Station at 1:17 pm and ran. Just made it. Now I really have to pee.

I am excited, I was going to Dallas tonight and then it rains...sucks...see how it goes

Someone just told me something about LeBron James...how did I miss this interesting piece of gossip? I guess LeBron's mother is only like 16 or 19 years older than he...and she was messing around w/ one of his teammates last year during the playoffs...Ouch!
Poor LeBron...you know like in junior high when someone would insult you and you would say "Thats not want your mother said last night" you don't want to say that to Le Bron.

RIP computer

This computer has got to go...I have the eee pc which I love...but its 5 yrs old and the cord isn't working anymore (it plugs directly into the back of the computer).It goes from battery to plug in power and back again...w/o any rhyme or reason,its been plugged in the whole time! Otherwise its been a great computer.
