Sportsmen I am obsessed with...

I was watching Rafael Nadal being handed his ass on a platter last night by Mario Baghatis(?...learn to spell his name correctly) and he kept pulling his shorts out of the crack of said ass. I never thought this was a sexy move before and I seen him do it a million times. But last night it transfixed me...maybe b/c he was losing?...but it was so fun...there goes his hand, its going to that region...and pull! He's not my type but I do like watching him pull his shorts out of his ass.
My main squeeze is now Brett Favre. I have to share him w/ his wife...and his girlfriend... and that other girl...but no matter, I am just happy he is coming back! Forty is beautiful! The other night Handitran friend asked me "What kind of man do you like?" I was like "Obviously I like a man who can throw an interception in the last 3 minutes of a game, lose the game and be asked back next year for 20 million." That game I will remember for the rest of my life. I want his jersey! Usually it sickens me but I don't care if supposedly he is stepping out on his wife w/ a girl that has silicone breasts...and a silicone butt, he is still a hero on the football field.

my trip to barnes & noble

I was depressed on Saturday and i wanted to be even more depressed so I wanted to find a book at barnes & noble titled "Lost Children of Wilder...". I couldn't find the book.
This is so depressing...

I haven't been to B&N like in 5 months and before it seemed like they had a pretty kick ass history and social science section but when I went in there Sat. they had changed everything around and now there are like 4 rows of "Christian inspirational" and 4 rows of cookbooks. I ended up w 2 cookbooks and 1 book about emissaries in Chabad Lubavitch ...when in doubt go w/ what you know. Christian stuff must really sell.

Time is rather ruthless...

One of my favorite professors of all time, Professor Richard Ferrier, has recently died. How sad and what a loss...he was such a dynamo in the classroom...the way he integrated his Mac computer and handled the 200+ student classroom w/ ease, such a pro. Thank you for writing my recommendation letter and burying it in the second paragraph that you didn't know me that well (ok, I read it, I suck). I will always remember you fondly, thanks.
My mom's kidneys are not working that well and she has to go in for tests next week...geez what is going on here?
In happy news, I am going to Barnes and Noble tomorrow to get some books recommended on Amazon (irony) and I get 10% back on my card (feeling virtuous, however probably paying more)

No new computer

The computer I sorta wanted...HP 15.6 screen laptop w/ Intel processor and 5(!) hour battery time...is the computer everyone else wants too so I might get it, or not, in 45 days. I have been waitlisted. I still have my sometime working eee pc and when it works...like now...its good. The HP costs alot of money, I think I need 45 days to think about it anyway. I am running on battery time here that is about to run out and I need to go and get some creme at Walmart to finish the chili.
I might be coming to Austin to get my hair done and hangout in Sept, hurray!

Those smells

I have to take a break...I am chopping red onions to make a North Indian style chili in the slow cooker tomorrow(like a curry type dish over rice, have to grate some ginger too). Those onions make my eyes water like crazy!
What is it w/ homeless men and that smell? I went to Target today to get my ingredients and there is a bench near the door and I wanted to sit there to wait for my ride. There was a homeless(?) man w/o legs sitting on the bench w/ his wheelchair next to him. I couldn't get within 10 feet of the bench b/c the smell was so terrible! I wanted to go back in and buy him some deodorant ...do they not have showers at homeless shelters...maybe not, maybe its a security risk? My town does not have public transportation so I was thinking, how does a guy with no legs get to Target? Back to cutting onions...
